About some of the Honorable Mention Winners:
• See the landing page of the RiSE website to see the Tamar’s amazing artistic expression through dance titled “Journey”.
The piece illustrates her struggles with her learning differences and ends with her showing triumph her confidence and becoming comfortable with herself despite her challenges along the way. The dance is choreographed beautifully by Gwendolyn Bye.
• James Vogel is looking forward to inspiring others in his love for math, as a teacher.
• William Caldwell shows his determination and drive through creating and accomplishing things. An example is such last year when he and his construction crew on the set of his high school play, Singing in the Rain, made the elevator rise 7 stores and actually rain on stage.
• Matt Henderson was awarded a Mentorship with Congressmen Trey Gowdy in S.C. and was awarded the Philip T. Bradley Leadership Scholarship. He might just be a future politician!!
